Requirements for the Art On Demand system
To install an Art on Demand system the following is required:
- A computer with Windows XP or Windows 7 and the Microsoft Internet Explorer search engine that will make a web catalogue of the images available for selection. This improves the use of the ”kiosk” hardware platform, which incorporates a touch screen for the convenience of the public when interacting with the catalogue.
- A broadband internet connection (preferably of 2 megabytes or more).
- A computer with Windows XP or 7 that will serve as the print manager for checking the orders.
- A Canon 44″ by 60″ large format printer connected in a network to the computer and the internet.
- An ART ON DEMAND licence – Master or Kiosk license.
- A system with which to pay the copyright royalties for printing works of art.
- A supply of printing media suitable for the reproductions
The AOD Business Ready system consists of
- A digital kiosk with a 17” touch screen
- A computer with Windows XP
- A Canon iPF 8100 or iPF 9100 large format printer
- An Art on Demand® license package
